Non-GMO corn seeds
In our country the cultivation of GMO plants are allowed, but many farmers prefer to grow only vegetables and grains from non-GMO seeds. Often GMO corn seeds issue for natural varieties because they haven’t appearance differences.
Modified corn seeds can be determined only after analyzing in the specialized laboratories for customs or exchange. Every farmer should clearly understand what corn he grows to avoid confusion, as happened with the Ukrainian companies in June 2011, which were charged in exporting GMO corn to Turkey.
Nearly 85% of U.S. corn genetically modified today. It is also worth consider that foods such as: Corn flour, corn gluten, corn masa, corn starch, corn syrup, cornmeal, and High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) have modifications at the gene level.
The surest way to buy non-GMO corn seeds is to buy them in a countries where GMO sorts forbidden, for example in any EU country.
